I have an extra cusp on my last molars on the top (my wisdom teeth were dug out).  What's that mean?

...my daughter gave me a great book for christmas-anatomy for the artist by sarah simblet .

After flipping thru the GTD book, my NP said it reminded him of a book called "The Body Type Diet". I ordered the book and flipped thru it myself ......... at a quick flip, I only see the pics of the body types and nothing else that is in GTD. Will read it all the way thru soon I hope. If he brings it up, I want to be able to have an intelligent, informed conversation about both books. would like to have a look at the book you mentioned as well

I voted both toes the same. Will be curious if this means something somewhere down the way as well.

I remember that book.  I did that diet when I was a teenager.  It was the first time I ever saw the "one diet does not fit all" concept.

Big toes longer, but not by much.

regarding the toes.  If  the second toe is longer it's a sign that you're the boss.  Maybe this is an Irish myth.  Also, (don't quote me on this!!!) but it's supposed to be one of the characteristics of serial killers!!!!  they have 5 characteristics and the toe is one. Another one is big ear lobes and unfortunately I can't remember the others.  Better I don't remember or I would be checking everyone out..!!!

Sluggerbean & Italybound - Do you mean the Body Type Diet by Dr. Abravanel? My doc put me on that when I was a kid. I was the adrenal type I think. My parents resented having to buy 'all those special foods.' Thank God for Dr. D -- and all the strife and angst he has saved so many from that don't have to go through self loathing and painful innards!

BTW, both my 'index toes' are longer than my big toes.

IB, the body type diet has strangely opposing recommendations  for my type as the BTD or GTD...suggesting that I become a vegetarian, which I was for many years, so.....I dunno...

An old Chinese custom of wrapping a girl's feet so that they would not grow would be an epigenetic event so depending on your shoe wear in early childhood etc may have an effect on toe length

You don't have an option for me!     The big toe is longer on one foot and shorter on the other, like my index and ring fingers!  I'm just assymetrical all around!

My index toe is very, very slightly longer than my big toe, but it's not even a millimeter's difference, so for all intents and purposes I consider them equal

I have the world's ugliest and hardest to fit feet. They're long with fat toes, instep as wide as the Mississippi, fallen arches, huge heel bone jutting out, and inch-long heel spurs with fragments.

Ooo, fun!...

Big toes longer... (Nomad - very symmetrical)
Little toes all nice and neat like Isa's.... Love the "organ pipe" analogy...     Helps to make my 9.5's look not quite so big!

Brighid...  if you don't do yoga, you should! You could ace the balancing postures
