I have received the Genotype test kit, but not the book.
The chart in the kit does not correspond with data I have received on the boards and elsewhere.
The basic calculator seems correct.
1 - Hunter 2 - Gatherer 3 - Teacher 4 - Explorer 5 - Warrior 6 - Nomad
Intermediate & Advanced give a different number scheme.
1 - Hunter 2 - Gatherer 3 - Explorer 4 - Teacher 5 - Warrior 6 - Nomad
However, reading the chart data it appears as if when the chart says 3 it means teacher and when it says 4 it means explorer inspite of the number interpretation at the bottom of the page.
For instance using the advanced chart,
If torso > leg and Upper > lower and Index > ring A+ secretor are a 3 --I think this should be teacher not explorer inspite of what it says at base of page.
If torso > leg and Upper > lower and Ring > index A+ secretor are a 3 --I think this should be teacher not explorer inspite of what it says at base of page.
If torso > leg and Upper > lower and different for each hand A+ secretor/nonsecretor are both 3 --I think this should be teacher not explorer inspite of what it says at base of page.
If torso > leg and lower > upper and Ring > index A+ secretor/nonsecretor are both 3 --I think this should be teacher not explorer inspite of what it says at base of page.
---
Can someone with a book confirm that all the readings that I mentioned above are teachers and NOT explorers as the chart with genotype test kit indicates?
Thanks

I was holding off until I got my book. Hopefully, those that are members use the online calculator and ignore the sheet in the kit. |

Just to let Canadians know, the GTD test kits are up and ready to be ordered on the ABOEssentials site too! I am assuming that the kits allow for only one person to be PROP taster tested? I wonder if we will be able to order additional of those tests at any point? |

The online description of the kit to me implied 10 strips (to test 10 people), my kit actually had enough to test 30 people. |

Looks like you have another one to report.
Quoted from Head and Jaw Worksheet on the GTD site
If the angle you measure is 125 degrees or less, you have a square jaw (a narrow gonial angle). If your jaw angle is greater than 125 degrees, you have an almond-shaped jaw (a wide gonial angle).

well the prop test was especially confusing as it is a matchbook labeled "control", so the kit seemed to be missing something, I opened a second kit I ordered as a gift and discovered it had been re designed. Hope the charts have as well, because if you hapen to be a teacher in the basic test and the intermediate, you will become an explorer in the advanced calculator! Dread to think about the rest of the categories. 11 years to print this...,Makes me wonderwhy cherry juice is highly beneficial and cherries are toxic. Feedback please! I have invested so much time and energy in this program. I am at a loss. R |

Glad to hear the kit was updated!! I also hope that the teacher explorer swap was eliminated. The matchbook should have two types of paper in it. In my case the paper without the chemical added to it was stappled in the front of the match book. The paper treated with the chemical you were trying to taste were the back sheets in the matchbook. The control paper in the front was white. The treated paper in the back was a very light yellow. |

I got the kit late last week & am confused about that black sheet. Are we supposed to wet it to make it inky? I thought there was to be a small ink pad, but there was only this. I tried to peel it but couldn't. Can I get some help? I'll try again......... Cheerio! Mrs "T" O+ |

Hmmmm, is it a smooth black sheet with clear ends? If so, peel the clear ends apart and it will leave you with two pieces of sticky inky film. No need to add water. Plenty of ink to make a mess with! |

Mine was printed incorrectly, too, but don't think it influenced my outcomes. I hope it didn't traumatize anyone!! OK, now I get to do some finger painting ! I'm sure I'll be able to peel that thing & see if I am right about what I think my prints should be! |
