Thanks--it just makes a lot of sense to me! And speaking of making sense; I am Ex-Tac-Tic about being a Hunter! So many new foods---so much more time to try then out--because thanks to Dr. D and Co. I'm gonna live longer...and better! |

You also get to exercise every day! I had already been using tahini and grapefruit, now I get to use them a little bit more. |

I think it is so funny that the slogan for Hunters is "Shoot, first, ask questions later." In my own life/career, I have often encouraged staff to "Grab the bull by the horns; if its the wrong bull--we'll sort it out at the pen." |

I've been eating tahini and dark chocolate (hmmm...i wonder how this would taste together) for over two years now so it was nice to see them on the Hunter's Super bene list. I know first hand about hyper immune systems that Hunter's have...mine only attacked all of my hair 10 years ago...with all this less friction on top of my head, I'm a hunter built for speed |

Well the real question is Mike is do you have facial hair? Balding men with facial hair were found to be more sexually attractive to women and supposedly had more sperm count. |

I wonder how many of us have felt "drawn to" certain foods, which have now moved up the list on GTD. Grape juice has always been my "crave" when I'm sick...and I have also craved grapefruit...although have not given into that---until now.
Anybody else--any GT--have a similiar experience? |

MyraBee, i have always done really well on Almonds and Almond butter. I have done really well on Salmon, too, Watermellon, Garbonzo beans, Butter Beans, and some other of my favorite foods i have seen move up. I have hated Collards and i think they turn out to be avoid or neutral? can't remember. Never liked prunes, good riddance! haha I was surprised by Figs, i found i did well on them. I was surprised to see dates go up, i've always liked them but they give me mucus. I'm not sure where Rye is at now but i remember trying it in Mana bread and it didn't agree with me at all . But i can tolerate millet really well. I'm anxious to try the artichoke pasta, buckwheat, quinoa, and all the other superfood carbs now since i have never thought to give them a chance. I think i tried the feta a couple of times on the BTD and it didnt work out, but the mozarella went well for me and now i am trying the romana and parmesan which seem to be going even better than the moza! IOW, GTD4TW! |

Sure. Pretty much the foods we've talked about. Also some spices/herbs like cilantro, cinnamon, sage and tarragon. I never cared much for papaya and now it's an avoid. By and large my natural food choices fit the diet. There are some exceptions but it's not bad. |

I haven't gotten my book yet... went out of town to a place with no real bookstores too, so I'm out of luck for a while. I was at the conference in April but had to catch a plane during the last session, so I'm clueless still...
I can always hope...to be a hunter. Can't wait to find out, whatever I am.
Afternote: I'm a gatherer, but I'm very happy to be a gatherer as well, because the diet is right for me, and I love the new foods! |

I've probably gained ten pounds today--trying out all my new foods! HigherGround, I've always been drawn to almond/almond butter, too. And, Lima Beans, as Lloyd mentioned a few entries back. Lloyd and Mikeo, have you just "had a Feeling" about Tahini....or did you have some inside information? |

I started using tahini back in April. It makes a killer salad dressing with garlic and lemon juice, cilantro and maybe another herb. |

Apparantly we can handle acetaminophen ,mono- and diglycerides, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, sulpher dioxide, propionic acid, sodium nitrite, ethyl maltol, caffeine (not me), calcium diglutamate and who knows what else. Not that I'm looking to use these, just that they aren't on our avoid list but make it on at least one other types...... |

well...how do I answer this question?...I do not have facial hair either and if you like a good male kisser, facial hair as well as whiskers can give woman serious facial burns re: sperm...I don't care how attractive or how much facial hair a bald man has...if he's not on the diet, his sperm count is low. |

Lloyd, that sounds so yummy! Any special proportions...or just to personal taste? And, any other herb suggestions...what do you think about Rosemary? |

Rosemary works. I have also used tarragon, oregano, thyme and basil at various times. Each has merit. I never measure, it's hard to go wrong. Just use your personal taste. If you like, a tiny bit of sea salt could also be used.
I put everything in the bottom of my salad bowl, mix it up, then let is sit while washing the greens and spinning them dry. Chop the greens, add to bowl, mix throughout. When I get low in the tahini bottle I make the mix in there and just pour it on the salad, putting the rest back in the fridge. That's usually a few days worth. |

Wow, I'm a Hunter! Salmon, green beans, grapefruit, pineapple, chocolate , and cinnamon all go to superbennie!!! This pleases me to no end. I will miss my plums, prunes, almond milk, figs, grapes, apples, spinach, and carrots. This will take some getting used to. Now maybe I will lose this weight--stop, no maybes this time. I will lose this weight! Off to explore the book more.... |

Organic parsley (if it's ok for hunters). |
