The stabilized rice bran would be fine.

This just means the oil has been removed from the rice bran.

If it is not removed the oil often goes rancid spoiling the product.

Can you have oat bran?  I ask because it's easier to find.  And I can tolerate it for a while.

My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant.  Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index.  DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer.

Different individuals may tolerate different foods at different rates.  Just because something is a beneficial or neutral food, doesn't mean everyone of that type will tolerate it the same.  Some of this difference may have to do with past experiences with the food, different nutrient requirements due to different physical conditions, different healing patterns, etc...

I've been buying rice bran from a Japanese market in Sacramento.  Are there any Japanese markets near you?  They might sell it also.  I refrigerate it.

I have used Bob's Rice Bran and really like it. It keeps for ages in the freezer. In fact, I have to reorder some very soon. Thanks for reminding me!

Yes, it's normal.  This message board doesn't notify users of replies.

I looked up oat bran and rice bran in the book.  They're both Neutral for Type O.  But a later version of BTD divides each BT into "secretor" and "non-secretor."  (This is explained in "Live Right 4 Your Type.")  Oat bran is an avoid for O non-secretors.  So an O's tolerance for oat bran will depend on secretor status.

Here are links to the online database entries for these foods:

I've a few questions on this subject . So am not sure shell i start a new Thread.
Anyway, lets see. I dont know what's secretor non-secretor? Maybe i should do my Blood test again. The originall one i've done ages ago. I am O-. So do u think there r some more info. i need on my blood group. Some persons on this web seem to know almost everything on their blood g.
iHope you can help.

Secretor status is explained in Live Right 4 Your Type. The simple blood type test does not tell you your secretor status. Only a saliva test for secretor status. It can also be determined, in most cases, from a Lewis typing test.

You can also find and explanation here:

Knowledge is power.  SWAMI gives you the diet that will unlock the key to better health, and it's all based on your unique individuality.
