Dr, D created this protein powder for type A.  Should work fine for you.  Just so you know, it's
unflavored, but you can add any blood type A beneficial or neutral fruits or vegetables of your choice.
Same goes for sweeteners.

Soy protein is fine for Os. Be sure to avoid GMO soy (look for organic or "certified GMO free" on the label) and read ingredients carefully- many products have unhealthy gums and/or sugars and/or flavorings added to the powder. Dr D's products are of excellent quality, but are not the only options.

For the almost 6 years I followed the standard BTD for A nonnies I made smoothies in my Vita Mix using organic soy milk (homemade or Eden brand unflavored) and organic Soy Boy brand extra firm tofu as the "base".  Then I added greens, fruits, and more protein such as hemp powder or chia seeds to wind up with 25 - 30 grams of protein in a very large glass (24 oz).   It was definitely a long lasting protein fix!

Now, with my new SWAMI, I can't eat soy anything for 2 months.........but if you are following the BTD I thought you might be interested in what was my high protein breakfast meal........suitable for after exercise also I would think.

6 years on ER BTD, went from sick and dying to healthier And 30 pounds slimmer.  THEN:
Dec 2013: Started Swami Xpress - I'm 48% Explorer with hybridized Explorer/BTD list. A new adventure for this old lady!  -- LOST 5 more pounds on SWAMI!

Hi Renato - Many sports nutrition specialists recommend whey protein after a work-out for optimum conditioning benefits. Of course, as type A's we shouldn't have whey protein powder. However there are some foods that contain whey protein that we are able to consume while remaining compliant. I follow a work-out with yogurt. Ricotta cheese has a relatively high whey content as well, if that's on your list. The secondary recommendation by sports nutrition specialists for those who can't have whey is soy. A company called Hammer Nutrition also offers vegan recovery products. Their products are very high quality - and taste good too!
