Well, I was just transfixed at the site of the supplier: Fiddyment Farms. Here are the flavors: Chili-Lime, Jalapeño, Garlic & Onion, Lemon, Sea Salt and Pepper, Barbecue, Lightly Salted, Salt-Free, and then the two sweet flavors (not at Whole Foods) of Butter Toffee and Mandarin. I've contacted them to see if they'll share how they flavor the nuts:
Is it an infused oil that is sprayed on? Which oil? Is it an immersion before roasting? I asked for process and for ingredients.
The site is really pretty. This couple loves those pistachios. Lots of gift assortments, too, for those who are interested. I liked the Recipe page, whereon the American Pistachio Growers Association lists numerous recipes - I picked up a few ideas (for adaptation ).
