I found this tasty-sounding mint-green tea, but it has lemongrass in it.  I see recipes on this website that use lemongrass, but I don't find it in the typebase.  I'm an O-nonnie.

I know if it's not in the typebase that I'm supposed to "assume neutral," but if anyone has any insight as to why it might be HB/N/A, please let me know.  I've still got serious healing to do, and I'm eating 99% HBs.  Thanks!

Holistic Fox, hello

I haven't got the time to read through all the recipes and links that Lola sent above, but what I can say as a quick answer is that "Lemon Grass, Citronella" is listed in my SWAMI as Neutral under the Spices section, and I am an O Nonnie, so you should be OK (unless anyone else knows why not)

- I love to use the fresh stems in any asian curry or stir fry along with Kaffir lime leaves (not evaluated but presumed safe)…

The only other thing I would say, is that I bought a Lemongrass and Citrus herbal tea and was quite disappointed in the lack of lemon pungency in comparison with the fresh stems - also, be careful of hidden avoids with herbal teas - just this week I was going to buy a Hawthorn tea infusion, only to find the first ingredient listed was Apple Pomace (an O Nonnie avoid due to pesky lectin)

Hope this helps

It does, thanks!  I am very, very careful about my teas.  They usually only have 1-3 ingredients.  I'm even a little apprehensive about the O-type tea on the website hear because it has "natural flavors" in it.
