I have been following the BTD for a couple years now but never followed the supplement suggestions. 6 days ago I began taking magnesium and by the 2nd day I noticed that I was not nearly as tired as I used to be. My condition had gotten so bad that nothing would stir me at night and after a nights sleep I would wake up exhausted. With each day I feel more rested now and I actually heard my daughter fall down the stairs last night and woke up. She's okay, by the way, just has a sore tush.

I also noticed I have slowly started dropping weight again. So interested in what all magnesium can do for me, I decided to ask you all to share what you may or may not have noticed after you began your magnesium supplement regimen. TIA

I keep forgetting to make my B son take epsom salts baths. I mean to have him take baths at least once a week, but he's been challenging lately.

Do a web search for "miracle of magnesium" and read up, lots of good info.

I seem to do better taking it in a gel form on sore muscles.. knowing its good for the heart muscle is OK too.. I seem to need more minerals all around..

All the best in your tiredness.. You might try Drd's supplement called Trehaloe Complex.. Look up the two items .. Trehalose and D-Ribose.. The first one is great for mood / sugar is not seen by diabetes nice!. The second is great for heart rejuvenation all around.. together they are good for cleaning up the junk in our body.. I highly recommend it.. and it's relatively cheap.. Buy 3 containers its worth it you can take it as is or in drinks or make lemon/lime-juice or ice tea with it... You might feel a lot less tired too.. good luck..

p/s no one should be tired as you are.. I used to be the same.. am finally better..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Yes I used to get cramps in my right calf and kidney stones every other year. It helped with both. It also cost less than 50 cents a day for magnesium citrate.

Wow! Reading the 22 conditions caused by magnesium deficiency I was stunned by how many of them my 3 daughters & I suffer from. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. Now to get my girls to take it.

I've also been following the BTD for a couple of years and have just been diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia and calcium deficiency?!  I have been taking iron supplements for a couple of weeks and today Ive started on a calcium/mag supplement so I am hoping for some results soon.  I suffer from aching legs, headaches and feel exhausted most of the time.  For someone who eats so many iron and calcium rich foods I have stunned that I am deficient in both minerals.

Are you taking any B12? That can increase mineral absorption.

Now to get my girls to take it.

Open capsules and sprinkle into some saucy dishes or soups, if necessary...

I would question the diagnosis first. then if it is correct what has caused this. it is unlikely that it was caused by eating right for your type.

how compliant are you how may deleting foods are you still eating?

sugar, wheat, etc.

Your body might be keeping iron levels down as a precaution for some reason. It would be wise to look at the whole picture.

You may be a NON secretor. get a test done as a matter or some urgency. I would.

Type B as known for being deficient in magnesium.

How many times a weak are do you have a Epsom salts bath. 3 would be advised.

Go and see a practitioner like tom greenfield.
