Aussie, are you saying that nuts/seeds affect candida?

Prunella, does that work for systemic candida, or just vaginal yeast infections.

Also, for those who worry about killing off candida which might expose heavy metals such as mercury to the body, have no fear. A homeopath can help you to remove the metals once the candida is killed and the metals are exposed. He will choose a remedy based on your metal-induced symptoms.

kescah, the yeast treatment is for systemic yeast. I think it helped. My yeast symptoms did not involve any itching until I took one of the three treatments. Then I got mild, temporary vaginal itching. The TCM practitioner thinks that indicates a strain of yeast that is too active.

And I must thank you for pointing out the advantages of homeopathy for treating at different levels. I think I need to have all of my dental work completed before I expect yeast to subside completely.

Prunella, how old are your fillings? They lose mercury over the years, or so I understand, so by the time you are as old as me, they are not as bad. One of the few advantages of getting old.

News to me: my homeopath said today that candida is worst at the new moon and for two weeks surrounding it, then better for two weeks. So he warned me not to think I was cured at the opposite end of the cycle and get lax.
