There is more information about Chayote in the GTD version of the diet. You would have to know the secretor status of each of you and take some body measurements. The short answer is maybe yes and maybe no for each of you.

Chayote is in the squash family......I would put it under all the other squashes. I had a similar question about "swai" last year until people told me it was within the catfish family.....something I could have eaten all along.
