Not listed for BTD, so assume neutral.

Both are listed GTD/SWAMI. You could check the GTD list for your likely GenoType.

Are you following the BTD or GTD?

For Explorer per the book, Chia is a Diamond Superfood, but Hemp is a total avoid.

Hi Lisa, I commented on your other thread that hemp seeds and chia are beneficial for me.  I'm an O neg non secretor Explorer.  I use them both very regularly.  I got them both listed in my Swami food list.

As Lloyd stated above, they aren't rated for BTD, so are considered Neutral unless yo have a negative reaction to them...

You would have to change to The Genotype diet or SWAMI to get a rating for them.

Chia seeds are terrific & so versatile, but I am writing this as a warning... As I easily get hooked on certain foods/tastes/routines & (even though I know I should rotate things) for convenience (especially for breakfast) I will at times go overboard before I remember to switch

Okay... this is way tmi but please make sure you soak them &/or drink enough with them!!!! Chia seeds suck up fluids if you don't drink plenty!! I have now had several experiences over the past few years with them, where I have obviously had too many & they have actually ended up so bloated inside me, that I have had to sit on the pot for quite some time to get a huge BM out!! Great clean out & detox but *ouch* Sorry 'bout the graphics & don't let it put you off these little babies

some chia should be okay, as Possum says, keep fluids up which can come through raw vegetables, salad, fresh fruit, fresh raw blended soups, soaked nuts seeds, ground flax seed.  Read up more on chia seeds if you get a chance as opinions vary.  Hemp seeds need to be fresh, try and get whole seed and grind it yourself if possible, hemp is very balanced in terms of the essental omega oils ie 3-6-9 fatty acids.

I always add my chia to a blender drink so I get the liquid at the same time.
