I am thinking that I need more fat too. So I'm trialing coconut oil (beneficial) and flaxseed oil (diamond).

Sometimes after a meal, I feel really unsatisfied (even one with olive oil dressing). . . until I have a teaspoon of coconut oil or butter.

Funny about the brain thing - I am studying as well. Maybe my brain is hungry

I am with you. However, I think coconut oil is a black dot for me, I need to call and get my password to read my swami output again.

Yes, you need the fat for thinking!!! what are you studying?

when EVOO is blended at high speeds in a blender to make mayo, it becomes very bitter

Ah, I didn't know this.  Thanks for this gem of knowledge.

well the good news is that Costco came out with their own Kirkland brand of organic EVOO in a dark bottle and it works very well. I use 1/2 cup of that with 1/4 c macadamia and 1/4 c butter flavored organic evoo, so no refined oils now. The other oil they used to sell was organic but some other brand and made it very bitter but wasn't at all bitter until it was blended. Now I'm a happy camper

Just make sure you're not cutting out the fats TOO much. If you're getting adequate fat from meats and eggs, you may do fine with no added oils.  But a completely fat-free diet isn't healthy either. Most people need at least a teaspoonful a day of butter or oil.

Hi there thanks for the thoughts.

I had 1.5 teaspoon of olive oil on my salad at lunch but probably wont have any for dinner.. trying to take it slow and see how much my body really needs.

hope you are well

I have done this diet in all sorts of regimens.. from the first to the last book/and Swami,  going to the bathroom has never been easy.

Yet I feel better and healthier.  Almonds are edible if soaked in salt water over night.  Peel them, even walnuts might be easier.. But I love nuts.. just that they call foe chocolate... haha

Give up one food at a time  to see what it does over a month,, then add one item at a time see what each does.. is all I can do.. same with spices..

When I see other peoples medicines schedule-I am happy to be here taking care of my health I only wish to drop weight more easily-life would be perfectionBeing 'here' creates understanding. BTD prevents damage from eating avoids. Thanks Dr D & your sups - all support and friendships
