well i recently started taking alfalfa a few weeks ago with NO change in my diet what so ever, low and behold i have gained some weight, not a lot but enough to be able to "feel" a difference! the only change to my lifestyle was the alfalfa! i should have looked into it before starting it because i found out its an avoid for o's. lesson learned! tossed that bottle out right when i got home!
fyi: i also found out horses that need to gain weight are given alfalfa! humm, interesting!
