You can buy disposable foil pans for roasting large pieces of meat (such as a whole turkey.) Yeah, the aluminum isn't great, but it's better than eating non-compliant foods or not getting enough total meat.
Of course, a whole turkey might be enough meat for about 3 months if you're the only one eating it and you eat small portions of meat, and you may not have the freezer space for that. You may do as well buying a half breast or a package of turkey legs. I often roast a half-breast with a single drumstick, for that "whole turkey" flavor without making a huge quantity of food. |
