OK, so i've gotten the genotype book and have read and followed it as much as i can. I got the blood test kit, and the genotype kit. the blood test kit tells me i'm O negative. i have longer torso then legs(actually have extra vertibrea), upper legs are longer then lower, ring finger on left hand is longer then index, but on my right hand its too close to tell if my ring finger is longer, or the same length. how crucial is +/- 1mm? Cause determining how i measure my finger its either 1mm longer, or the same...which turns out to be the the difference between me being a hunter or a explorer! Help please! I can see certain traits in both hunter and explorer that resonate with me, and can see things that dont make sense for either of them.
Thats the thing, i've had my sister measure and she says it like 1mm longer. if i measure using palms up, which crease am i supposed to measure from. I have 3 of them were my ring finger connects to my palm, which spands about 3mm. so that would be another 3mm variance right there. if i got SWAMI, do you think that would help clarify? I just find it hard to imagine that the only defining thing between me being D2 or D4 is 1mm? And its confusing me cause I have the sensitivity to environments that a D4 has, yet when i take the D4 test, not much of it sounds like me. But on the other hand I dont have the energy that a hunter is supposed to have, and i have always been about 15-20lbs over weight. so the metabolism being my strong suite doesnt seem right. I also struggle with health issues all the time. i've been seeing a nutritionist for 4 years now, and yes we have made progress, but i still am battling with things like parasites and immune system problems. sorry for the rant!

SWAMI won't help you measure more accurately, but it would help by reducing the amount of dependence on that measurement, as there are many more measurements, etc. that are taken into account in SWAMI than in the book tables...
Have you seen the video describing and showing the measurement methods?
Use the crease where the finger joins the palm, at the palm.
SWAMI is helpful and more accurate since it uses more information. It will also make adjustments to your food list on a relative rather than an absolute basis. You should also consider getting your secretor status tested.
Some people have very close measurements and others don't. It's life.
SWAMI put me from Gatherer to Explorer. The book description of Explorer suited me much more than the Gatherer. It eliminates the guess work and the need to tweak your diet down the road from following the book diet. The diet is in the book for Explorer is very restricting. SWAMI gave me such a large variety.
