I was wondering if there are other ABs who are sensitive to Beneficial Carbs and some fruits, legumes and Beans. |

What sensitivities are you refering to?
I'm very sensitive to the sugar in fruit-- I go hypoglyceimic. 4 oz. of juice is about all I can handle, once per day. Some grains (not brown rice) will cause this to a somewhat lesser degree. Beans.. I love them, but they bloat me. I choose to eat them anyway, but I feel paunchy.

I used to have a severe reaction whenever I ate really sweet fruit, but found that due to having been on an anti-candida diet, which restricted carbs for too long, my cellular energy was really low. When I ate the beneficial carbs, it powered the cells to dump garbage and caused me to feel really bad until the body caught up. Fortunately, I had a practitioner I could talk it over with and I was able to reduce the portion size down to keep the symptoms under control, then slowly build to clean out. It is no longer a problem. |

Try drinking cherry juice and green tea together a couple times a day or whatever you can manage. |

Averno I start to gain weight immediately. If I ate a nice big bowl of Stir-fry noodles with loads of veggies, and soy sauce, which is also supposed to be beneficial, tomorrow morning I would be 2 lbs heavier. Same with Sushi and Beans. No bloating, but weight gain over time on these as well. I cannot have sushi and soy sauce the day before I weigh in at Weight Watchers. I think even the light tamamri sauce causing me weight gain.
ABJoe They wanted me to be on a Candida passifying diet, but I liked fruit too much, so I never went for it. |

At your age you probably have some muscle to gain back. I would worry less about fluctuation in weight. Fluctuations that occur overnight are only part fat accumulation. They are more likely differences in water retention. |

As best as I can make an amateur sense of it... Cherry juice binds to to things, like problematic sugars, and Green Tea removes them. That is actually why Green Tea is anti-cancerous; because it removes sugars from cells that are per-cursors to cancer. |

Could it be the sodium in these foods? |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |

I wouldn't worry about sodium unless you are already on diuretics prescribed by a doctor.
Joe, that is an interesting story. In this case however if indeed a Warrior, she would be to the benefit that her system can probably handle dealing with a bit more stuff at once. One of the few benefits... |
