It tasted kind of sweet! I think that may just be the nature of the celery making the rounds lately.

The sweetest celery is harvested in summer, yes. But I was referring to the salt.
Salt connoisseurs do distinguish between salts for their sweetness.

This evening at Whole Foods, there was something I would have bought had they had it, in Prepared Foods.
There are other shops that carry it, and it's a big hit.
Years ago, Whole Foods carried it, and it was easy to resort to when it was the only thing that would do...

Simple...grilled...flank steak.
You're in the store. You're thinking you'd like something to eat when you get home. You're ready for some protein --- maybe just a slice or two. The other shop that has it does a great job...

Two slices of soft, medium rare flank steak. A few grilled asparagi. A green salad. That's dinner.
Without the salad: One slice wrapped negimaki-style around the asparagus: Lunch.

Life could be so simple. Compliance could be so simple. Instead the food there is so busy, or you have to go for sliced roast beef from the deli.

Grilled flank steak and grilled lamb chops, right? They can offer a whole case full of various flavors of roasted chicken, however.

Chicken seems to be in everything, and even if your BT can tolerate it, it's terribly unhealthy. Who wants to eat an animal full of hormones, antibiotics, and sick from it's factory environment?

But we do. Many millions of them.
