ABJoe,it said in the Blog " Elevated indican is rather rare in simple constipation, but often high with diarrhea". But had Chronic Constipation since I was 6 months old. My old doctor in Riverside said I had the start of Peptic Ulcers yeas ago . Doesn't that indicate that I have high level of stomach acids? My problems are not meats at all, I can lose weight and have no symptoms when I follow a South Beach Diet Regimen, but my problem is with carbs like beans, pasta, potatoes and rice etc.
The other problem I have with my Type AB diet is that there are so many Beneficials I am not supposed to eat because of my low thyroid problem. They are too high in Goitregens which mess with my T4 to T3 conversion When I still had Medicaid I asked my doctor if he would prescribe me Cytomel, but he said no. I am thinking about getting some T3 Tablets from Australia where I don't need a prescription |

You may have never had proper flora balance, causing constipation, digestion issues, etc... If you've had constant slow transit, maybe the digestive juices didn't leave in a timely fashion. In this case, it seems like the problem is not too much acid, but bacterial balance - maybe due to avoid food intake or ???

Have you done a simple iodine patch test to see about proper levels? If you are iodine deficient the thyroid won't work correctly. Very inexpensive and may save you grief... |

H pylori causes Peptic ulcers. Sounds like gut flora issues. Thyroid disease is directly related to the gut. |

Lola, which would be the most important one to get? My husband is an independent contractor and has to pay his own taxes 30.3% on $7.35 an hour. He works 9 hours a day after taxes that is $46.10 a day and we do have to eat. HE is not on the BTD and has lost bunches of weight and I don't know how, but 23 lbs since May 15th and he is down to 172lbs. I am drinking lots of water and have added again Chlorophyll to my water. A friend who is an Naturopath told me that people got healed of Leukemia by drinking Chlorophyll. Since MY Leukemia is still in its chronic stages, maybe I can get rid of it before it turns into the acute phase. |

AB Joe, When I take iodine and spread it on my belly, it's gone within a half an hour. I am taking 75mcg of Synthroid every day. I have had constipation issues since I was 6 months old. My mother gave me household soap suppositories called Sunlicht when I was 6 months old. I had to take such horse sized tabled called Nervogastrol since I was 6 years old. I just turned 58 on the 5th of August so I been having intestinal problems for 57.5 years of my life. |

It sounds like you need Iodine. I would keep putting it on a spot at a time until the spot remains for at least 4 hours, better if it stays 12 or more... I'm sorry that you've had digestive issues for this long, but you now have access to diet and supplement information that will help you. I realize that progress may be very slow due to the amount of damage, but the only way to heal is to start and stick to it. |

Yes, I understand that AB Joe. Once the SSI people return the money they took as "Over payment" we will have close to $3000 and then I can get the tests, but you know the wheels of our government turn slowly but surely and I will just have to wait till they deposit it. It is hard for us because we really can't afford a lot of the foods so I am hoping that once I run out of foods that are non-compliant, I can buy foods that are beneficial for me. Do you know where I can find an AB Food List? Not the food list that covers everybody like here on the board. |

Lola, have you ever heard that Chlorophyll will "cure" Leukemia? The Manager of a local Health Food Store, who also happens to be a friend, if not a close friend of mine made that statement yesterday when I went to get some Nature's Sunshine Products instead of ordering it through the company, of which I also am a distributor. |

I have bought a lot of books at this site. Good luck! My heart goes out to you... About the chlorophyll, I don't know anything about what it might cure, but it is wonderful for the stomach/gut - the High Sheriff of what goes on in our bodies! |

Thank you Spring. If nothing else, it makes me "smell" less. I have a real problem with body odor, but I prefer not to clog up my pores with anti-antiperspirant, since I already have a problem perspiring. And NSP has a minty flavor, so it also freshens my breath. At least it will keep me "regular" |

@ Spring I am looking into saving up for a BTD Practitioner not far away from where I live. Maybe they have a package deal that includes all the tests and the SWAMI which will be mine to keep and I will have objective help with the measuring for the Genotype That will be fun seeing that my ring and index fingers are all different sizes on each hand
@ C-Sharp I went to the Abe Books site, but for some reason they do not accept my MC Debit card |

I am very familiar with Nature's Sunshine. Have used their products for years...but their herbal formula blends are not "blood type specific." Chlorophyl may help for some, and not for others. Our blood type/genotype is key to what "specific"nutrients will help a body recover from an illness. Sharing with the best of intentions. I drank Chlorophyl for years, because herbalists told me it was good for me. But once I started reading about Blood Type, I realized Chlorophyl was made from... alfalfa, a Type O avoid. See? |

You don't have to get chlorophyll from alfalfa. Just eat all the green stuff you are allowed on your diet! Chlorella (micro-algae) is a good source of it. I don't get along with alfalfa AT ALL, and I knew that before I ever heard of Dr. D. It is an avoid for me now. Not surprised at all! |
