Has anyone successfully located it, tried it, or enjoyed natto?  I've watched many youtube videos on preparation but have not been able to purchase natto anywhere so unable to ever taste it.

Some part of me is gagging just thinking about the sticky/slimy texture, not to mention the strong
odor, but I am very curious about learning more.

Any thoughts?

I do both...

Still curious about natto as food.  I'm assuming it's gross....must be something you'd have to have
grown up eating...part of the Japanese diet...but still, I did try dried durian....just for the heck of
it.....No words to describe that disgusting moment...

This is interesting.

Maintaining normal cholesterol and blood pressure levels is essential for cardiovascular health. But there’s another key factor many people, even cardiologists, often overlook: blood clotting.
If your blood does not clot enough, even simple cuts or bruises can turn into life-threatening injuries. But if your blood clots too much, your blood becomes more thick, or viscous — slowing down your circulation.

One fundamental difference between the Japanese and the American diet is that Japanese citizens consume over 50,000 tons of a traditional fermented soy food called natto each year, while Americans eat none. Could that account for the difference?

I actually quite like natto and did obtain it from a Japanese food supplier online in UK.
Eventually I decided I needed a therapeutic and known amount of nattokinase for my afib [warfarin had been mentioned   ] so haven't eaten the fresh/frozen stuff for ages.
It was handy to take out as a snack food.

I've eaten natto in sushi, and I find it incredibly disgusting. I'd rather eat cardboard!

I just took my very first natto pill this morning when I first got up. It says to take without food. Besides, I wanted to see how it affected me, because of my allergies, without competing with other things.
I started taking hawthorn capsules three days ago. I had done a lot of research that said it helps circulation and blood pressure, and had no side effects. I had been having a lot of pressure in my chest lately. Since I have leaky valve, enlarged heart, and left ventricle not pumping right, I thought I'd  try it. My other supplements didn't seem like enough help. The hawthorn is really helping, it seems. I didn't have the pressure yesterday nor Monday.

Japanese market in my town has it-- white and black soybeans. Bought it once a long time ago just to see I was not able to eat it.

Try an ethnic market.

I bought a small package of Natto at Trader Joes a while back and unfortunately it is still in my garage refrigerator!  I really need to see what it is all about!

Don't know if it's the natto pill or the hawthorn pill, but I am feeling better without that pressure in my chest.
