That's 3 g protein per serving. For coconut substitutions, try pecans.
Haha! I got excited. I lose weight quicker with increased protein. |

"Arriving at breakfast"? Sometimes (rarely) I eat at 8am. Sometimes I eat at 10am. Sometimes I eat at noon... or after... Note: Smoked Pacific Salmon is available at Amazon.com. Don't know how it can be packaged for international shipment, however. Haven't looked into it. But you'll save a ton of airfare! Maybe someone'll buy it for you for your upcoming 40th? |

Actually I have seeen it here in the shops I think we might have it as a starter on my b-day party - I could bake some tiny speltbased bagels and that would be yummy BF today( last holiday day ) spelt/yoghurt bread with butter and scramble eggs and nectarines and tea. Right now midmorning strong coffee with full fat milk and chocolate |

Chia - I must remember to add some to rice and fruit breakfasts; or in yoghurt drinks - especially a yoghurt drink that is also breakfast on the go, they would lift the nutritional profile and probably make a lassi thicker like a pudding. |

I am getting surprisingly good mileage out of adding chia to my morning breakfast shake. And I would love to join you two for bagels & a cup of joe - for which I have had none since last December. |

I have been boring Last 3 days I have had peach "omelet" sounds a bit weird but since I only eat low amounts of grain. I make this omelet/pancake type things; 2ggs, a bit of cream, 1 tbl almond flour - bake in butter and add sliced up peaches or nectarines - a drizzle of maple syrup ( the real thing) keeps me happy and full for a loong time. |

I think you eat kin'a the way I do, HBS. Yesterday I had a toasted bagel with almond butter and really juicy peach pieces on top, and a handful of strawberries, at about noon, I think. Today I haven't eaten yet - it's only 11:00am. But maybe I'll let you know - |

Pear, apple & blueberry baked in the oven with a 'crumble' topping of oats, sea salt, spelt flour, agave and lemon juice.
I had this with fresh cream & a mug of sencha.
I am already hungry for lunch though - it has only been 4 hrs, having leftover sweet potato & macadamia risotto. |

Same as yesterday, substituting grilled flank steak for the lamb burger. A little earlier, too, at 10:30. (Wanna eat before the mercury rises over 60º? Just kidding. ) |

Correct. Today I had two glasses of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice in warm water, and a spelt toasted melt with leftover lamb shoulder, lettuce, cheese and mustard. A hot raw cocoa with agave & cream. Plus two macadamia butter cookies (uh, wheat) |

This morning I ate only a few little pieces of baguette toast with butter, preserved raspberries, and a couple of shaved slices of parmesano. Preceded by Lebanese spiced coffee with cream. |

Lebanese coffee tell me more
I buy a Lebanese product that is spiced with cardamom, pre-ground (Turkish grind), and vacuum-packed. I like it very much - takes me back to the Middle East, and probably to distant genetic ancestral memories of crossing the desert! The desert nomads spiced their coffee this way, and their descendents still do, though some prefer or also use coriander seed. The original reason (foul-tasting water) for spicing the coffee no longer exists, but - because it's so delicious and became an ethnic habit - it stuck. As you know, my palate is highly attuned to herbs and spices, and the cardamom really works well, for me, with strong coffee. |

turkish coffee, pancakes, peaches oh my; reminds me of ye olde cafes that make baklava dripping in honey & pistachio and serve tiny cups of black thick spiced cafe.
today I had a nice cafe brunch; poached egg, hollandaise sauce, spinach, mushrooms sauteed on small slice of toast plus 500mls of 50/50 grapefruit juice in warm water |
