I try to make breakfast my heaviest meal of the day. I eat the same thing daily, though. Turkey sausage (organic, homemade - well, by the sausage maker), one hardboiled egg, and half an apple (or a whole one). Lately, a cup of milk kefir (plain or with blueberries or other fruit)... sans either the sausage frank or egg. |

My type B 10 year old son usually has oatmeal with milk and honey for breakfast, often with a glass of milk alongside it. He doesn't seem to want anything too heavy at breakfast time. The school bus comes at 8:40 AM so he usually eats around 8:30, after getting dressed and packing up for school. On Saturdays he has a bowl of rice cereal and milk, and on Sundays before Hebrew School he has his usual oatmeal and milk about half an hour later. On days when he doens't need to be anyplace (doesn't happen often during the school year, but will happen a lot over the summer) he'll eat breakfast later; often around 10:00 AM, and it will be a heartier breakfast, often eggs and toast or eggs and oatmeal plus apple sauce or a little juice.
I don't know if he'll need a higher protein/lower carb breakfast when he gets older. For now, he's active enough to handle morning carbs. |

Brunch for me. I'm only half a B though. So...
I eat a fried egg, two slices of deli meat (organic with no bad ingredients), some kind of juicy fruit like this morning it was watermelon. About 2 cups. Maybe a hair more, 1/4 cup of nuts and some dried fruit mixed in a bowl. Like this morning it was some walnuts with 3 prunes. The prunes were kind of small, otherwise it's usually just 2. Sprinkled with some sea salt and cinnamon.
Lovely "brunch" for me. I don't do well on real early breakfasts.
My Mom and Daughter are B's. And they both have been classically much more "morning" people, than I ever have. And seem to eat well in the morning. My daughter had a good portion of oatmeal with raisins and butter this morning. Maybe 1/4 of dried oatmeal. It was leftover so I don't know how much exactly. She'll eat eggs and fruit with me some days. Fruit is almost always on the menu at breakfast in our house. |

On weekends and when I go to the office I drink a protein shake every morning. Work days I drink it on my commute. I have a banana or apple later in the morning. Then I have a rice cake a bit later but before lunch.
When I travel I have an egg or oatmeal and juice at the hotel. Maybe some fruit depending on what they have. I’ll eat my rice cake later. |

I eat breakfast every morning and within 30 mins after I wake. I'm not sure if this normal but i never eat the same thing. Some mornings it's all protein, others all carbs and some a healthy mix of both. I just try and listen to what my body needs. There's even mornings all I want is fruit. Yesterday morning I had 2 scrambled eggs, 2 slices of Ezekiel bread with Ghee and an apple. The day before it was Irish oaks w/butter milk and molasses. Sunday it was 1 cup of cottage cheese w/flax oil and a green drink. |

Why wouldn't it be normal? I feel free to do the same thing, tending toward protein: Sometimes I have meaty leftovers and go for that. Sometimes I make eggs with vegetables and cheese. Sometimes I put some cheese or nut butter on bread. But: Occasionally I just go for fruit, with or without yogurt. Often I skip breakfast, just not feeling hungry until what you'd call lunchtime. I'm always happy to eat breakfast - no prejudice against it or anything - but if I ain't hungry, I ain't hungry - I just drink my coffee or tea and wait 'til very late a.m., to about 1:30 p.m. |

Well you listen to your body and that is great Sometimes when I am very sugar and starch free I really don´t feel like eating BF and I tend to wait to midmorning ( I get up at 6 so waiting to 10- 11 is a long time ) Funny thing I am in a family with most O´s and they all seem perfectly happy to have the same BF every single day ... Emma eats eggs every morning except when our hens are lazy and she seem happy about that( and I just cange how they are cooked because I don´t want to cook the same every morning - I have to change my BF and so does my sister ( B) we both like to rotate between different things for BF.... sometimes eggs, sometimes cheese, sometimes yoghurt- sometimes meat or fish sometimes nutbutter on bread. |

I'm completely more than happy eating the same thing every day IF it is something that I love and that satisfies me. I drink a large smoothie every morning and have for years. Of course, it isn't just fruit blended up. It's a substantial meal. |

Henriette and Victoria: I can either change or eat the same thing, when it comes to the mental aspect. I'd actually, like Victoria, just as soon eat the same thing every day, but, when the moment arrives, the tummy simply doesn't feel like it OR the item (such as certain meat leftovers, or a fresh fruit) is not available.
I'm only rarely in the mood for cereal in the morning, unless it's a really small portion. It sits heavier than meat or fruit and feels less satisfying than protein.
I've now been up four hours and am starting to get hungry - Haven't eaten in 19-or-so hours. It's a particularly long stretch, but I sometimes get like that when I'm working. |

Wow. I really like meat in the morning. I like the way I feel afterward. I've always liked it, but I've been making an effort to track these things now. I was surprised to hear my MD take an interest in my breakfasts and also suggest I eat meat leftovers at that time. Cool. |

I like meat or eggs in the morning. An omelette with lots of veggies in it is good. In fact Brighid had a recipe if I can remember: Beat a dozen eggs pour into a muffin pan untill each mold is half full, add a tablespoon of cooked veggies and maybe a little cheese, top with the rest of the egg and bake till done. Can be eaten hot or stored in the fridge for breakfast on the go. |

I dunno. Refrigerated omelette doesn't appeal to me. But fresh it's a handy idea for something a little different. |

Breakfast for me is almost always the same lol I eat a slice of spelt sourdough bread with feta cheese which I love ...sometimes I'll have two scrambled eggs cooked in organic butter with the toast instead of cheese, I also have a juicer and make fresh pineapple and orange juice and store in fridge for a few days, also drink coffee with full fat milk. |
