It looks like you are a Blood Type B that has found that you are Gatherer.  Did you use the advanced tables in the book to reach the Gatherer conclusion?

The book provides the foods to focus on adding or removing from your diet.  There are recipes in the recipe center based on blood type, but we can usually help with any  modifications necessary to enable you to make them as long as the major ingredients are compliant...

You can start as fast or slow as fits your personality, budget, or the amount of stocked food that you need to use up...

Don't hesitate to ask specific questions, although preferably after you have attempted to utilize the forum search tool to see if the topic has already been discussed...

Meat, vegetables, eggs, millet. No chicken (for B's). That is a simple enough start.

If you haven't already done a secretor test, consider doing that next.  It's important to your self-knowledge, whether you follow the BTD, the GTD or the SWAMI.

If you decide to follow just the blood type diet for a while as you get your bearings, I recommend you work from LR4YT.  Reading it anyway will help you get to know what type of people we type B's are.  Being a B is a wonderful thing and I welcome you!

If you want to follow the genotype diet, it's still important to know your secretor status so that you can be sure of what type you are.

Welcome SuperB!

So glad that you are joining us.

A couple questions might help us better focus on how to get started:

1) What is the goal for your diet. Are we wanting to lose weight? Are you wanting to treat particular health conditions (fibromyalgia, headaches, lack of energy, ...)?

2) Which diet plan are we thinking of starting (GenoType, Blood type diet, or SWAMI)? Or are are we still considering the options?

Thanks,

C#

MIfHI                            I follow a SWAMI diet.
