Whoaaaaaa.......the Big Fruit is now the boss!!....this is totally unexpected after I ate it with some guacamole last night. I remember once posting a recepie for a Liver Cleanse here couple months ago that did, indeed, involve Epsom Salts, Olive Oil, and fresh grapefruit juice......but that was from Dr. Hulda Clarke. And I sure didn't take the Epsom Salts last night. I'm glad it's just a "hangover" feeling and not a "migrane" feeling. What's your food relationship with Mr. Grapefruit these days? (ha ha) here's a funny for ya: http://www.facebook.com/realgrapefruit |

Grapefruit is a very healing food, so it is possible for it to trigger a detox session...
It is also possible that there was something in the guacamole that caused a problem...
My personal relationship with "Mr. Grapefruit" is very good! I drink some juice regularly. |

Usually I can tolerate grapefruit(neutral for me) but with my extreme allergies this particular spring the acid or whatever rips right through my digestive system. More of a purge than a detox for me right now. |

Sometimes a bad experience with grapefruit might indicate a problem with the gallbladder. |

I don't really have any symptoms of gallbladder issues so I don't think that's it. I think it's just wrong for me. |

Apparently grapefruit can prolong life (through its “spermadine” content) |

Trehalose has been a reason to eat grapefruit almost daily but avocado has not been kind to me.
Long before BTD, I eliminated avocado after several bouts of serious gut discomfort. |

Don't know about a "hangover," but they certainly give me a major stomach ache if I eat too much. I'm "hangingover" all right!!! |
