It says exactly what it does that's so bad for every blood type in the link you posted

That thread is specifically about the reaction Coconut Oil causes for Type B's. Some good information in there for you.

Dr. D. has done some further research for the Genotype Diet.  Part of the comment he made is that some of us do better with soap in our bile ducts...

Rev144,
if you ever want to know how coconut oil or any other avoid tooted as wondrous throughout the Internet rates for you personally, you have the option of running a personalized swami report

Lola, The Swami report sounds intriguing, however I have a hard time putting so much personal information into an online web based program... All programs were meant to be hacked! Is the program offered with a cd that I can install on my own computer?

Thanks Dan for the link, lots of helpful info in there.

No!  The only way to get it is to run it through your browser on Dr. D's computer.  Even the Pro that practitioners use runs the same way, as far as I know.

Coconut oil is supposed to be good for thyroid from what I've read but I don't tolerate it.    It makes me really dizzy, even just one tablespoon or even less.

O non sec  can have it,I have never had a problem. Sahara it is metabolized really fast so maybe you are getting energy too fast. They call it the fatless fat because it becomes available energy quickly (Goes straight to the liver like carbs but without insulin surge)unlike long chains that need to be taken to the intestines first.  Butter gives me problems(sinus), I am trying ghee and seeing if I can tolerate it.

Apparently agave also goes straight to the liver but does require insulin, so it doesn't do that?

However on the Genotype diet it is a diamond beneficial for Nomads if it is virgin coconut oil.

Agave contains some glucose, so insulin is needed to metabolize it.  Coconut oil is just fat, so no insulin needed.

I won't know if I'm a nonnie for sure for another month, but even when I run my SWAMI as a nonnie, I still get coconut oil as an avoid.  Bummer.  It tastes really good (haven't had it in about a year) and I was actually looking forward to that part of being a nonnie.
