Can I eat this tea after I brew the bag?  I do eat Itaru's green tea after brewing. Yesterday I tried eating the Sip Right & found it to be quite tastey. I just mix it in with my greens & bake it adding spices. I just don't want to eat it if it can hurt me in any way. In addition to the Organic Chinese Green Tea Leaves, the bag holds: Rosehips, Rooibos Whole Plant, Ginger Root, Licorice Root, Marshmellow Root, Roasted Chicory Root & Dandelion Root.  I welcome your response.

I've eaten Mr. Itaru's tea also, but haven't eaten the Sip Right.  How did you feel after eating it?

Deb...I felt fine...it was mixed in with my greens so I barely noticed that it was there...I was just wondering if eating those teas is possible harmful...I think of it as simply added fiber.

I just figure if I can drink the tea...it must be ok to eat the leaves...am I right in thinking that?  The same goes for the Yerba Mate.  I tried chewing the Yerba Mate but it's not as easy to chew as the other herbs...it's tougher...like trying to eat wood.

I can't imagine being able to brew a tea but not eat the leaves or stems afterward. If you like the taste, I say go for it.

right, as I mentioned somewhere else, mine has twigs!!
maybe you could grind it fine, much like cinnamon and sprinkle it on your salads.
