I would think so. There are a variety of lime types grown world wide of which the Key limes are an original Florida variety. I read the description in the TYPEbase and there is no indication that are not equivalent as far as BTD is concerned.

I would agree.  They're the same thing, only smaller and a little more tart.  BTW, you can make Key Lime Pie with regular lime juice, if that's what you were trying to make.

Thanks.  I was just adding some lime juice to stuff like my water and my daughter likes it too.  I also added some to my B vinaigrette for mexican food.  The limes that I have are key limes so it made me think.

Key Lime {Citrus aurantifolia - Rutaceae}

There are a variety of Citrus sp. considered 'Lime'.

A Key Lime, however, is more akin to the Bitter Orange or the Bergamot Orange.

Technically untested, therefore Neutral.
But Citrus, as a group, is pretty Hit or Missile at best.

Huh.  I would think (here we go with the achievement tests we all loved in elementary school):

lime : key lime

as

orange : bitter orange

That would be my first guess.  Are you sure, Schluggell?
