Before I left, I made sure I ate my Gatherer snack of a piece of celery with almond butter.

Funkymuse, have you noticed the GT difference with your shield? I hope it is just a typo or a change in GT after you wrote your post.

Best wishes with this new plan.

I do overeat as well and it certainly makes me sluggish. Binge eating makes me feel horrid but even when BTD'ing if I eat too much in one sitting I need a nap. Constantly eating small healthy things also makes me "heavy."

I have realized that if I have 3 meals that satiate me (not fill me) and a light fruit snack with some beverage and GTD I feel energetic and joyous. Not going over the line (satiated-full) is this year's challenge for me

Best wishes,

Hi everybody,  Thanks for the welcome.  I will try the beef jerkey.  I haven't done my secretor status yet.  I guess I should, right?

I also haven't studied Dr. Dadamo's new book.  What does everyone think of it?

Thanks!

Hi, welcome Xplorer...so, you gonna mess with saskwatch?   I always wondered why I didn't like beef jerky..now I know. I do love the saskwatch commercials..hilarious!

I really like the GTD book. I expected the BTD to evolve but not in that direction.  I was expecting more sub-blood types with different requirements to be discovered. The gene thing is fascinating.

Secretor status is very important, whether you decide to advance to the GTD, or stick with the BTD.  It can make a lot of difference in what your best food choices are.

I enjoyed the book a lot, and it makes sense to me, in line with some of my instincts about my eating plan.

Hi everyone,

I am trying to figure out if soy milk, rice milk or something else is the best kind of milk for an 0 to drink especially because I'm lactose intolerant.

Also, if I'm supposed to avoid whey, what kind of protein supplement is best for 0's?

Thanks!

Egg white is a pretty good supplemental protein source. Of the milks, rice is likely your best choice. Watch out for avoids in the ingredient list!

A lot of folks are making their own rice milk...I have decided that I don't need a milk, really. As for protein, I had turkey sausage this morn.
the book is great.

Hey,
People who are happy / less stressed tend to eat less and have higher amounts of seratonin - the feel good factor.
Hope this helps a little.

Good luck.

Steve.
