Thanks!

AB's have provolone and parmesan, two very similar cheeses, as avoids. It would be best to assume the romano as an avoid also, even though untyped foods are typically neutral. In this case, there is no reason to think it would be different than either of the other two I mentioned.

Assume thats the Diabetes health series book?    Are you borderline, type 2 or type 1?

if it s pecorino Romano, I believe it would be fine, since it is exclusively sheep s cheese.

Actually, I have reason to think that romano is okay for AB nonsecretors, irrespective. For secretors it is not as encouraging.

Pecorino cheeses would be okay for any AB.

On another note, according to wikipedia regarding the source of the milk:

Quoted Text
There are different types of romano cheese. True romano cheese is made from sheep's milk (pecorino romano) or goat's milk (caprino romano), though mass produced versions, as in the United States, are often made from cow's milk (vacchino romano).

I'm not familiar with a forum such as this.  Where did the "Winter. Hidden potential." attached to my posts come from.  How do I change it?
