Hi...I'm not sure I'm even in the right area...new here...I've been doing the blood type eating plan for a few weeks now...all is well. I have been using the Mannatech Advanced Ambrotose for the past year and wondering if I eat according to this BT plan if I would need that anymore.  I'm not real educated in knowing what all is in this suppliment from Ambrotose....for kicks I'll list the ingredients in case any of you have any wisdom on like where else I may get these nutrients (foods) other than this product.

Arabinogalactan, aloe vera (think BT says no for type O), Rice starch, Ghatti Gum,
Gum Tragacanth, Glucosimin HCI, Watame (Undaria Pinnatifida), Algae extract.

Ok, thanks in advance for any sort of wisdom you may have for me...tootles, Kim

Arabinogalactin, the reason for taking the Ambrotose, can be gotten from http://www.4yourtype.com/ either in pure form or with quercitin. No Avoids!

Depending on your health situation it may be appropriate to continue with arabinogalactan and/or appropriate probiotic (get from same place, 4yourtype.com).

Nice to have you on board, Kimberlee!

Thank you Lola and Lloyd for your help.  I didn't see anything about Arabinogalactin on the 4yourtype site.  My health is good, I think...hahaha...trying to stay away from Dr.s if I can. I was just taking the Ambrotose because I heard it helped the cells communicate and could possibly keep them healthier and maybe keep cells from being more prone to becoming cancerous.
I was eating about everything before I started eating for my blood type for about a month now.
I've also eliminated sugar and caffiene...well, refined sugar, that is. This BTD foods are much healthier so was thinking I could maybe start to eliminate some suppliments.
Thanks for your help...this is a nice site...tons of info................thanks, Kim

You'll get used to looking for things.....

http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP004

Take some time to familiarize yourself with this site and the 4yourtype site when you get the chance. In the meantime, others will help with links.

The arabinogalactan is excellent for gut health, which is implicit in much of general health. Whether or not it is something you need right now is another question that I can't answer!   You seem to be off to a good start with the diet, look forward to more posts from you.

Thanks Lloyd...your info has been helpful...and in searching out other info, I'm going to move toward the 4yourtype suppliments instead of the ones I've been taking.........thanks......
