I found some Citron fruit spread at Trader Joe's yesterday and am wondering where yuzu fruit falls into the BTD scheme of things. Anybody know? Schluggell?

Wikipedia has an entry on the citrus fruit Yuzu.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuzu

As a hybrid of the mandarin (avoid) I would tend to be cautious with it. As an untested item it is, of course, considered a neutral.

And yet, oranges are avoid and tangerines are neutral (for me anyway).

Lucky you!

Fortunately for me, I've found a kumquat marmalade made by Dalfour (France) that is compliant for those times when nothing but marmalade will do.

I believe in archived columns/articles and in Heidi Merritt's OTD Column, unrated foods are considered okay if one is not contending with major health challenges, is not recovering from an illness, and the individual is at their ideal weight.

More specificially, it is important to treat unrated foods with caution and pay attention to one's own bodily and digestive reaction(s) to unrated foods.
