Does anyone know of a non-dairy ice cream that's more BTD acceptable?

I've never found a commercially available non-dairy desert that was BTD compliant. *sigh*. What is the deal with all those gums (rhetorical)? Some of them have more than one listed in the ingredients.

I agree - Making your own is the safest and better way...They are typically a little small for than single servings but the Donvier vessel works really well for Non-Dairy ice cream making.

Fruit Sorbets are also another tasty option - Particularly if you have a masticating type juicer at hand. As it gets creamy when you run it thru again after it has been frozen first.

All very good suggestions.  I'll let my husband try Lola's recipe today.  I think he'll like it...I love it.

Just remember that tofu= soybeans=beans which should be consumed in limited amounts by type O secretors, so leave most of it for your husband.

Even some type Os say they do not do well with soybeans, including thyroid problems.

on page 47 of the meno book, tofu is a frequent neutral or allowed frequent for O secretors.
so enjoy your faux ice cream treat with no remorse, watching the frequency values as Don stated.
