How long ago were the bars re-formulated?  Was is recently

Per the pup I spoke to at NAP when I placed my order, it was pretty recently.  They are still pretty chewy but I love that about them, as they are never too dry and they are really substantial.  I had a blueberry one for lunch today and I just am into 'em, man.

Gotta go!  Later, dudes.

Breaking News Update:

Good afternoon, BTDers.  We are breaking into regular programming to inform you of a change in the status of PTwist's bar preference.  Our sources tell us that she is currently ingesting a chocolate-cherry Unibar and that, the more she repeats this action, the more taken she is by the wonderful, complex, rich flavor of same.  Therefore, as of approximately 12:15 p.m. eastern standard time, chocolate-cherry has pulled almost even with blueberry-almond in terms of her preference.  It is still blueberry-almond by a whisker, but the chocolate-cherry has made major in-roads.  Complex, rich, wonderful, that's how PTwist told our sources the flavor of the chocolate-cherry bars is.  We will, of course, break into programming again if anything further develops on this story.  We now return you to regular programming.

I took both flavors on my river trip, and don't even remember eating them. How sad is that? I guess they didn't make an impression on me.

I just bought the choc-cherry bar a few days ago & tried it today & think that it is still very chewy. Since this is my first time trying it I can't compare it to how it used to be.  I don't mind it though because the taste is good & the energy I got from it is worth a little extra chewing on my part.  The blueberry bar is less chewy so if you prefer less chewiness, go with the blueberry bar.

I am whimpering with you GCG.

And I am glad that the choc cherry bars have not changed much...I like them chewy as to not wolf them down.  I have to take my time like I should.
