I have been learning to mash the banana and freeze it with other fruits.  Just have to watch the sugar intake there too.

Goat milk is only a Tier 2 avoid for type O.

Cows milk is a Tier 1 avoid.

Tier 2 avoids are not as bad as Tier 1 avoids.

The LR4YT book is the only source of this information.

That sounds wonderful!  As an A, I'm always looking for cows milk alternatives, like soy and rice and goats milk products.  I've been scarfing down soy ice cream recently because it was my birthday and I really really really wanted ice cream, so I settled for soy, but this sounds like a good alternative, since goats milk is neutral for As.  Yay for ice cream!!!

I wish I wish ....come on now, O's should not have this...I tried running this subject by the boards awhile back....about Laloo's goat milk ice cream....looks fab, but its more milk than regular ice cream, albeit, goat milk, which we O's can't have....
perhaps better would be a very pure ice cream, just cream and sugar.

I've tried LaLoo's in the US:  http://www.goatmilkicecream.com/

I don't know if you can get it near you, but let me tell you, this stuff is so amazingly GREAT!  It's so yummy!  My favorites are the Fig and Chocolate flavors, but vanilla is a close third.  The only VERY sad thing is that there are a lot of gums in the ingredients, so this is a very seldom treat.  It's also very expensive.

One summer I had organic sheepmilks icecream in the countryside here
- very nice- and mild tasting - not at all the slightly goaty smell like some goatmilkproducts have.
There is really no reaason to use gums- if you use good products like full fat dairy and eggs- gums are really fillers !

I've been in the process of writing a blog about goats milk... including some goats milk ice cream I made last fall while my parents were visiting... and even they liked it! We also made some for my youngest son's birthday recently and the unsuspecting guests thought it was wonderful!!

Maybe I'll get the blog up soon...  ... been having a hard time writing lately...    but I will include the recipe when I do... very easy...

Thank you for sharing the link.

One can make a homemade goats milk ice cream or yogurt and substitute goat milk for the commonly called for cow milk to ensure that it is one hundred percent avoid free.
