Apologies for not seeing your question until the sale had passed. I hope you got it anyway and kept your receipt in case you needed to return it. The aluminum & copper used to enhance conductivity is fine imo. NONE of that will be on contact with your food. I have a super Cuisinart stock pot with the same kind of sandwiched super-conductivity bottom while the food surface is stainless steel. It is a wonderfully-functional piece.

So far so good!
Last night my son made Bison Chuck Roast in the big one. He put a little beef broth in the bottom, then added parsnips, onions, chives & tarragon. After he took it out of the oven, it was so tender and very tasty. Good “B” meal.
