Zuki, my NP is actually a chiro (in disguise ). He said he and some other chiros in St. Louis have been applying/petitioning to be licensed to write prescriptions, order blood tests, etc for several years. They've been denied to date. I believe they have figured a way around it if they're denied again this year. I hope so. If that happens, he'll be my primary doctor, just about is anyway.
Oh bless ur heart and I truly wish it for u !!! This way u'll feel ALOT safer NO chance of me finding someone like that in Canada |

Good one Victoria... Lisalea...if you google naturopath/montreal, quebec you can find three pages of them in your area. You could phone them to see which one would be willing to help and if they were BTD friendly. Not sure how far Magog is from you. Francoise would be real good though. Debra |

I had already found that one and indeed she sounds very good and BTD friendly as well ... but, it's so far from me and I don't have a car ... sigh ...thanks so very much ladies ... I will try to find a BTD friendly Naturopath here in my city that has experience; the last one that I went to is only in practice for about a year now ... |

Many doctors will give you a free get-aquainted short meeting. If not, call and ask your questions and get a feel for the office. |

Thanks everyone so much for your input. I bet I am a Nonnie too and I am ordering the secretor test this week. I will let you know when I find out.
Thanks Dr. D'Adamo for your post. I appreciate your personal referral. It's a one-hour drive for me but it's good to know that someone is there that has the same thinking as us BTDers.
Also, I have already decided after reading some of the Live Right for Your Type that I may have sensitivies to dairy if I am a non-secretor. Until I find out I will stick to the yogurt few times a week but I won't give up my lamb (only buy the leaner cuts anyway) which is Beneficial on both sides of the coin for my body. I really feel good if I eat a beneficial protien like lamb, how could it be bad for me?
By the way, My Naturopath is very interested in my improvement and has such a different approach to my health than my medical doctor. She will email me back when I need advice and is very helpful. So I may or may not keep her, I will have to wait and see how I do.
