Just wanted to let you all know of a seasoning salt that is very good on foods, like salads, etc.  It is called Herbamare, and you can buy it at Health Food stores and online.  To check the ingredients, go here:

http://www.rapunzel.com/products/avogel/avogel_seasoning_herbamare.html

I hope all the ingredients are okay for o-nonnies.  It seems to be!

Blessings!

The leeks in Herbamare are a type O avoid.

I suggest you try Trocomare, which I believe is avoid free.

Another pre-made, brandname spice mix I'm getting into putting into everything since I bought it for Thanksgiving is Frontier brand Organic Poultry Seasoning.  The only Type O avoid is the pepper, of which there truly doesn't seem to be much in there.  The ingredients are:

"Ingredients: Organic sage, organic thyme, organic dehydrated onion, organic marjoram, organic black pepper, organic celery seed, organic red pepper."

De-freakin'-licious!

I used to use Herbamare alot; it is a nice alternative to a good quality seasoned sea salt.

don t use it if you feel it is affecting you.

look for a more compliant spice, in your food.

Based on the english ingredients list on the Trocomare USA distributor's website there aren't any leeks in the Trocomare product, and there are leeks in the Herbamare product.

Maybe they offer different versions in different countries?

Either that or the translations are not correct somewhere.

I just sent an email message to the USA distributor to ask them to verify if leeks are in their version of the Trocomare product.
