Corn in Essene Bread? I'd ask which brand you saw that in. Only time I recall seeing it Essene Bread was from Scratch - long before BTD time.... |

sprouted and germinated is the same thing.
I didn t say it was fine, or the best option for you.....I said it is an unknown......
some consider unknowns as neutrals, and it is up to you if you want to consume it or not.
I would look for other sources of essene bread, like rye, or millet.......etc.....any compliant grain, but it is all up to you to decide. |

chaton95...not all breads are truly compliant even if they say essene or ezekiel on them. That is why it is always stressed to read your labels. I haven't seen essene bread with corn=mais=ble in it. As for corn juice...another thing you wouldn't see in my glass. Debra |

chaton95...ble(I don't know how to use the accent thingy on the e) means wheat in French, right? Do I understand now? I hope so. You mean corn and wheat are in the same avoid list? Wheat grass juice...somehow it is different because it is made from wheat berries (I think) from my understanding and wheat berries are okay. Being a nonnie I am not sure if I would have trouble with it as I have not found it to try as yet. Then again...it is all about individuality. Debra |

Wheat grass juice is good for everyone!
The sprouting of wheat into wheat grass destroys the lectin that is problematic in wheat. Sprouting also beneficially changes the nutrient profile of this grain, resulting in a nutrient-dense, enzyme-rich superfood. Because of these factors, I consider wheat grass to be an excellent addition to the diet for all blood types. As far as an amount, use your own judgement. Because of the concentrated nature of this food, a little goes a long way, so if you have not enjoyed wheat grass juice before, start with a smaller amount.

Wheat berries are the same as wheat and not okay in that form. Wheat grass JUICE is the juice of grass grown from wheat berries. Wheat grass juice is fantastic. Much of the grass you see outside is likely to be wheat grass. But if you eat the grass, you will get diarrhea, unlike a cow.

The wheat berry is the seed!
Therefore, by sprouting the berry, you are actually getting the grass that the new berries would grow on if allowed to continue until ripe...
The grass or juice in the grass is better for you than the berry... However, without allowing a small percentage of the plants to grow to ripe, you won't have more seeds to sprout. |

chaton95-in my French/English dictionary it reads: seed-graine (pip) pepin with an accent aigu over the e. And...ble accent aigu on the e= wheat. Yes. it states that in my dictionary also. You were confused that it said on Google/Altavista/Voila that corn=mais=ble accent aigu on the e, but now understand due to Margjos that ble accent aigu on the e=wheat and corn=mais. Right? And thanks ABJoe for the explanation. And sprouting the wheat berries destroys the lectins that is problematic in wheat, as MoDon posted, which is where the wheat juice comes from. Correct? Debra P.S. I sure hope that I have this right. |
