Okay! Don't say I told you so (Don especially) but the hemp powder is going OKAY, but it seems to make me drowsier than I should be. It has a lot of magnesium in it, which is great, but I don't know if that's why I am drowsy or what! Anyway, I think it is making me a bit too gassy as well, not bad, just more. Has a lot of fiber apparently.
SOOOO, Don what was that rice protein powder you told me about that you said you might order? Also, good egg white protein powder? NAP is not available right now for O, and I'm about to run out of the hemp.
I definitely DO like the smoothies in the a.m., though. I feel better working out than I did otherwise, but just not perked up at all. It's like the hemp makes me so laid back I don't want to do anything. Did I read somewhere that hemp is like a drug?
Number Two:
I also need a good recommendation for a green powder or something to put in my smoothie in the a.m. I know Harmonia is good, but I am so leary of flax meal as everytime I use it, it constipates me. So, I want one without flax. I just think I still need more greens in my diet, and my sons...

I haven't tried this brand yet, but since it is available from the same source, it is non-GMO, and it is a good price I would probably try it next time: NOW Rice Protein From Non-GMO Brown Rice

I think this is the one you showed me the first time, and it sounds even better than the NOW brand as there is some special processing of the rice protein. Also, what if I just put real egg whites into the rice powder? Would that be just as good as a powder?
Yes, I have purchased the Nutribiotic rice protein powder.
The Simply Whites is avidin neutralized egg whites protein powder. If you use one that isn't avidin neutralized like the Now brand I would recommend supplementing with biotin. Note that the NAP Protein Blend O has biotin added.
I agree that it is an advantage of buying both from one site because of one shipping charge, therefore a slightly higher price still comes out lower overall.

I've seen a lot of O talk about protein powders. Since we're eating so much meat, do we generally still need protein powder, as well? My body's still having a hard time adjusting to eating meat twice a day.

it is a quick way for some to get the protein they need, after or before workouts.
I do not have protein powders, but do eat all the protein I need.

My only source of animal protein is eggs. The plant proteins arent sufficient either. I would start using protein powders to suppliment my vegetarian diet, if I can get them here.
