I know this question is border line taboo... , but I just gotta know.

Beer is mainly hops, barley, etc! Why is it an avoid? I do not mean to be an imbecile, I promise....

Is it in the process?

I must find out, and fast. I can't say that I recall beer disagreeing with my system, but it does make bowling night a lot more fun!!

I just read all that on beer.

I know it is a neutral for a nonnie...but I try to concentrate on the benificials....I tend to ignore the neutrals....whats the point? I would say about 90% of my diet is from the benificial list.

I guess I think I would rather do all the good stuff, than go halfway. Wrong?

Neutrals are good when in a pinch though...

I would say it is wise to be mainly on beneficials if sick or overweight
- but IF you are well- I think you gets too little variety in your food.
Lots of the neutral foods are really healthy- but might not work as a medicine- like the benficals.

Don't forget the Yeast.
'Brewers Yeast' is not the yeast used for making beer - its the leftover trub residues.
Yeast for beer would be closer to Baking Yeast for all intents and purposes.

I know. I drink the sparkling white wine that I really like. I just try to drink red becasue it is benificial....but I do prefer the white...more sweet, less dry, bitter to me.

!!!!   Boy do I know the feeling!!  IMHO, anyone who has ever taken antib's needs to really load up on the Polyflora. Seems to be helping me and my brother alot.  He had been having ALOT of probs in that area until he started doing 9 Polyflora a day. All was going well until he started the beer. All my yakking about BTD has finally paid off for him (and he NOW appreciates all that yakking ) because he is paying attn to how his body reacts to the foods/drinks he consumes. Plant, water and repeat.

I wholeheartedly recommend Polyflora (by NAP). I take one in the morning and one in the evening (both on an empty stomach) and that keeps me regular ~ if I don't eat avoids. Great stuff!
