You're welcome, Purlgirl. I am self-taught, so that often means a lot of trial and error! |

Today I made something easy that I will be bringing for lunch...I cut up celery, broccoli, and carrots (all fresh) and sauteed them in olive oil and soy sauce...I made brown rice in my crockpot. It's like my own version of a rice bowl but with all fresh ingredients. Very easy, tasty and user friendly... |

ARachel, Could you give a quick lesson on the rice in the crockpot? As an O I don't eat many grain servings but now with my hubby being an A I'm trying to make more things that are for his type. Thanks! |

Quoted from Alia_Vo
The vegetables are actually assisting you by 'moving along' your food in the digesive tract because of its fiber.
Please remember that Ezekiel bread changed from its beneficial status to its present neutral status. There are more optimal grain options for blood type A's. Also be cognizant of portion/frequency guidelines; this may prove helpful.

I didnot kow that ezekial bread was now a neutral. Which ones are more benificial? Where do I find an updated list?? |

As follows is a link to TYPEBase4, then scroll down to Grain Food Category: http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/typeindexer.htmFrom what I can remember right now (since I only eat certain grains) is that buckwheat, amaranth, Manna bread, whole rye, rye flour, oats, oat flour, 100% artichoke pasta are all beneficial for A secretors; please note that these values change if one is a non-secretor. Yes, Ekeziel bread is now neutral. I believe the food classification changed to neutral, due to the fact that not all of the grains may be fully sprouted. This fact was brought up in one of the older threads. Alia |
