Lola, do you have the fruit ice cream recipe posted somewhere? My hubby (Type O) loves ice cream. I mean LOVES it!! That is one of the first things he mentioned about giving up on his BTD. He is diabetic, so we need to be careful about sweeteners as well. If you don't mind sharing your recipe, I would love to have it. Is it just the fruit and silken tofu?? That sounds much too easy!!

Diann, don t have a recipe per se, and it is as easy as it reads!!
just add silken tofu, a brick, to about 2 or 3 cups of frozen whatever fruit is compliant and turn on the processor........you can thaw the fruit just a bit so the blades don t get stuck...... have done it with mango, banana and strawberries also.......peach, too........it tasted sweet to me, without adding veg glycerin or other sweetener, but adjust to his taste buds and yours.

Welcome, Diann! Your natural instincts are right on target, like a compass pointing to true north (a.k.a., the Type A blood type diet) for you. I'm happy for you and for us all to have this diet which is like a user's manual to our own hardwiring and what the compatible software is for each of us, as well as which software will crash our individual systems! Without the BTD, I don't know where I'd be, health-wise, but it is a scary thought to me, truly. I think I might be on the scrap heap with a blown motherboard.

wanted to post this before I went to bed and forgot to do it tomorrow. i was shocked when I saw this. CELERY is loaded w/ Vit C!! and a fair amount of folate. also low glycemic but watch out for pesticided and buy organic if possible. My main point was the Vit C tho.
What I learned today is ......... no more store bought Almond milk. Have been avoiding it for 2 - 3 wks and today I ran across a box of choc almond milk that had been 'tucked away'. Decided to 'splurge' and have a glass. Eight ounces later, my stomach is bothering me. That was it, poured the rest of it down the drain. Hated to waste it, but w/ the carageenan in it, who else would I want to 'sick' that on, ya know. Bottom line, carageenan is a lot more harmful than some might think. Not in and of itself, but how it makes avoids worse when consumed. I ordered some bags for straining nut milks, so will have to use some good soy in the meantime.
