It's a Canadian company called Trophic. It's ingredients are water, chlorophyll and sodium chloride. Does it matter what the source is? Chlorophyll is the same regardless no? |

Source does matter. Most Chlorophyl is made from Alfalfa.
Maybe a better choice would be Chollera (sp?) because that's in the Live Cell forumlas I think....someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Ok but if your extract only the pure chlorophlyll..... and then dilute it in water I'm still not seeing the difference between the source if the chemical make up of it is the same. |

Phred, I'm not sure that you can extract the lectins, or in the case of alfalfa for O's - the component that can modify known disease susceptibility, from the clorophyll cells.
Of course, no one is forcing you to stop taking it... Lots of people eat avoids all the time. You may decide that not smelling is better than whatever effects you may have from the avoid.
I have the same situation with the myriad of products made from corn. I'm not willing to take the chance. |

My first thought was that it is something you're eating. A log of what you eat would do the trick. But seems you've found an answer. Good for you!!! Nothing like having to play detective for months, eh? I first thought of food because 1.) you say you have days you don't 'stink'. 2.) I once knew a guy who sweated and stunk SO bad (we were swing dancers and you can get quite hot and sweaty - he was an extremely good dancer, so danced alot). He got a new girlfriend and a new diet. He lost weight and tho he still sweated alot, he didn't stink. Found that quite amazing!! |

Well... it was rarely when I wasn't ripe by the days end. I stay very strict on the diet but still the stink..... there was an imbalance for sure. I did a series of acupuncture sessions in order to re-balance my body and that worked for a while but at $50 a pop... it could only go on so long. $18 (CDN) for a bottle of chlorophyll did the trick nicely! |

think I'm going to pick me up a bottle of that. I rarely wear deoderant when coming to work. I do office work and unless it gets super hot in here, I don't stink. Working around the house or yard is another matter. Smelling nice and fresh all the time would be great. Good thread Phred!! (ha, that rhymes - takes so little to amuse me ) |

Wow, what a find, Phred! Not only do you smell good, but you're also eating bennies! Are you putting some under your arms, also? (Just curious ) I remember a long time ago, there was a deodorant available in the health food stores that had chlorophyll. Queen Helene, I think. It might stain clothes, though. |

oh.....That's what I figured! Wonder if the green drink I'm putting in our morning smoothies is cutting the underarm odor? Both my daughter and I have noticed that our shirts don't smell bad at the end of the day. The powder contains wheat grass powder, barley grass powder and chlorella . . . It's very "green" !! |

Were you all able to order the Trophic chlorophyll from the website? I couldn't find a link to order, just a phone number. Is it just me? |

Thanks, Phred. It looks like they do ship to the US. I'm going to the HFS tomorrow, and I'll read some labels there. If the labels don't have the right info, I'll order it online. |
