Kate started a thread recently commenting on the annoying number of foods that are Avoids for only O nonnies. That got me curious, so I checked to see what other anomalies there might be.
Here are the foods that are Avoids for only one type and secretor status. As Kate could have guessed, O nonnies are the champ, but A secretors aren't far behind:
A secretor: Goat, Lamb, Mutton, Pheasant, Rabbit, Caviar, Bluefish, Grouper, Harvest Fish, Herring, Opaleye, Scup, Shad, Tilefish, Sweet Potato. Chili Powder, Wintergreen -- mostly meats, as you might guess.
A nonnie: Casaba Melon.
B secretor: Butterfish, Snail, Amaranth, Wild Rice, Pumpkin.
B nonnie: Nothing.
AB secretor: Nothing.
AB nonnie: Jicama, Prunes.
O secretor: Mustard Greens, Nutmeg.
O nonnie: Farmer Cheese, Feta Cheese, Goat Cheese, Mozzarella, Almond Cheese, Almond Milk, Cod Liver Oil, Gluten Free Bread, Oat Flour, Oats (Bran, Meal), Spelt, Spelt Flour, Brussels Sprouts, Apples, Apricots, Dates, Strawberries, Tamari, Vanilla. The dairy and grain products didn't surprise me, but all that fruit did!
Note the long lists for A secretors and O nonnies, yet short lists for A nonnies and O secretors.

And finally (as you might guess), I made a list of foods that are OK for only one type and secretor status. This time it's A secretors all the way.
A secretor: Sunflower Seed, Safflower Oil, Corn, Cornmeal, Popcorn, Corn Syrup, Dextrose, Invert Sugar, Maltodextrin, Sucanat, Corn Starch. (Of course, most of that lengthy list is corn!)
A nonnie: Frog, Octopus, Coconut Meat, Coconut Milk.
B secretor: Camembert, Parmesan, Provolone, Mustard (Vinegar), Pickles (Dill Relish).
B nonnie: Nothing.
AB secretor: Cashews, Pistachios, Wheat Germ.
AB nonnies: Nothing.
O secretors: Garbanzos, Olives (Greek, Spanish).
O nonnies: Coconut Oil, MSG.
NOTE: All of the above are based on lists that I compiled for my own use several months ago. There may be errors in my lists, and there have definitely been some changes to Typebase since then.
MSG -if I can't tolerate msg for sure does that mean I'm A NONNIE ( I get the runs so bad I get so weak I have to lay down for a couple of hours) This was many many years ago, I don't doingly eat it. ? I never did like the taste of brussel sprouts, but as a kid had to eat them, same with apples, apricots & dates, now I like dates but they don't like me. If I had vanilla I craved it so much, the only way I enjoy strawberries is if they are dark red ripe (if hard forget it)
I tried leeks, and did not like the way I felt after eating a serving, threw the rest away.

Actually, O nonnies are the only ones who can tolerate MSG -- though I'm sure a good many of them can't, due to individual allergies, sensitivities, and intolerances.
Except for Leeks, the rest pf the foods that you mention are O-nonnie-only Avoids, so maybe you are a nonnie. On the other hand, see Poly's post.

That MSG is a weird one - is that really something that anyone should ingest as an added ingredient?
This is also puzzling to me.
I wonder if it is possible to a food not cause in agglutination or other blood reaction and thus pass D'Adamo's testing, but still have harmfull affects on the body.
O-nonsecretors might be able to eat MSG without digestive upset or problems in the blood, but still suffer headaches and other reactions to MSG.
The URL below suggests that MSG kills nerve cells. This would have adverse health consequences, but have nothing to do with digestion or blood. In fact people who did not agglutinate MSG might deliver the chemical more efficientally to the brain.
I would like to think of it in terms of modern day natural selection, the O nonnies are probably one of the oldest blood groups, they have been around too long and are now eating up all of the red meat and avocados so there is not enough left for the other blood types, no wonder A secretors still can't eat beef there is none left after all of the O nonnies get done gorging on it. So anyway there is the O nonnie sore spot there blood doesn't let them know that msg is bad, it happily accepts it like it would a pear or any other neutral
Onon blood ".............mmmmmmmmm tastes like chicken"
eat, eat, eat away at the MSG and then they will die off one by one like ants walking off a hill.
Then finally the A sec. can eat red meat and the O Sec. can have a bit of avocado,

Good point C-sharp. I'm w/ Whimsical when she asks is that really something that anyone should ingest as an added ingredient? If trying to lose weight, it would be especially bad to eat because as I understand, MSG does not let the hunger "switch" in your brain turn off. How many times have you heard people w/ are eating Chinese, famous for MSG, "I just can't stop eating. I can eat this til I pop?" I can remember saying that more than once myself. Now I know why. Or part of the reason anyway. The other part was that I just plain loved it!!
No, no, no Carol BTD just proves that A secretors will naturally take over the world, it is just the natural process of things, no plot, just the world changing moving on. Dr. D in his advanced A sec mental abilities was just able to see this and make the scientific connection for all to see
Now it is troublesome that his wife is an O, but that is his personal matter

Wow. Now I'm depressed. It doesn't just FEEL like my type has more avoids than any other type, we really do! I sometimes quip that the O nonnie diet is the "monk diet". I'm laughing, but crying on the inside *lol*.
Welcome to the Hotel California.
O nonnie, OUT!
(p.s. I secretly wouldn't want to be any other type...avocados, don't ya know! Muah!)
