I am an 0 blood type, but perhaps it is my Explorer self that relates to the B blood type. I have friends who are B's and I find them absolutely refreshing. I very much think outside of the box myself and when they say things it makes perfect sense to me. We laugh a lot when we are together which is great!!!

In response to: Well-Guarded Secrets: Low-Tannin Red Wines (Reprise from 19 January 2006)

I have just received a comment I found interesting. I didn't publish it directly, but it accuses me of publishing a falsehood re the tannin-freeness of white wine, which is fermented after the skins, seeds and twigs (the tannin-bearing parts of the fruit) have been discarded. The commenter, who has a spam record on this website, makes the point that some white wines are aged in oak, which imparts tannin to many wines.

I'm glad this challenge arises, because readers who've heard about the tannins in oak -most notably American oak- might encounter this information elsewhere and become confused about white wine. The commenter suggested a couple of websites that would perhaps have further obfuscated the matter, but I've located one that I believe puts the "oaked white wine tannin question" in the right perspective. And know that very much white wine is NOT oak-aged. Begin your education on this matter here:
Born and raised in Hawaii as a nomad. love the tropical storms. I dance to thunder and lightening is that crazy or what! High surf, driving from below sea level to 10,000 ft. in a couple of hours. talk about pressure. Don't like to sunbathe but if i do go to the beach i need to dive in deep water where it's cool. Yes, my ancestor arrived from England, I'm part Hawaiian and sensitive to the sun.

I'm glad you're home and recovering!

I completely agree with you on the necessity of pharmaceuticals in specific health situations. I'm very glad we have those tools available for serious health conditions, when natural treatments aren't enough, and in acute situations when you can't wait for natural remedies to take effect.
