I was born in the English West Midlands City of Wolverhampton and was raised on a small farm. At the age of 16 my parents made what was a life changing decision and moved the family to Australia in 1970. Living with my parents after our arrival I eventually met my future wife over the photo copier at work. Married in 1975 we moved to Tasmania in 1990 searching for a better quality of life, which we have found.

I work as a Supply Manager [Purchasing] for a Tasmanian based irrigation company.

Interests include my family, our Collie dog Bonnie, gardening and football [soccer]. I am a lifelong fan of Wolves [Wolverhampton Wanderers] the famous English team from my home town.

I have followed the BTD way of eating since being introduced to it by my Naturopath in 2000
