There is a fine line between innovation and corruption. This is something I have been thinking a lot about lately. As a society, we seen to take a beneficial innovation and slowly tweak it and smash it until it becomes a harmful being. This is especially true for our food supply. Think about some of the innovations in our history that have led to the imitation version of food that many people commonly ingest.
Then: First started to insure safety of milk. Milk heated at LOW temperature to kill bacteria
Now: Ultra-Pasteurization is king, allows huge companies to have less then sanitary possessing centers and deliver milk that lasts for months and is devoid of any beneficial enzymes.
Then: Caveman puts meat on stick, puts stick in fire; mmmmmmmmmmm…gives meat good taste and warmth
Now: We have manipulated chemical reactions, played around with nature, puffed, steamrolled and blasted food so much that it no longer takes the form of actual food, it is now so far from its natural state that someone living 100 years ago would not recognize the stuff people eat and call food (and be better for it).
Just something to think about………..there are many other examples of this.
On a personal note, I’m trying to think of things in a new light- as an A. Since being a strict BTD-atarian, my health has continued to improve and improve. I feel better then I have in years, but as I have mentioned before I am at a healing plateau. So I have wrapped my brain around what to do, how to solve this.
I think that the problem is this: I eat an avoid free/ 80-90% beneficial perfect Blood Type A diet- BUT (and this is a big BUT) I eat it like a perfect O. Well I am not an O, I can try and try to be an O, but I will never be an O-----so why am I eating an A diet for an O. It has donned on me that I must suffer from a condition called ‘stupiditis’. It is very serious with no known cure yet, except for smacking your head against something hard until you snap out of it.
So my goal is to start eating my perfectly beneficial, avoid free A diet, like an A. I am embracing my A-ness. We will see how it goes. You all must understand that this is hard for me and I am not exactly sure how to do it, so any suggestions on how to be an A, will be much appreciated (even for those O’s out there who think they are A’s)
