Let's not forget that these "typical A and O personality types" are generalizations. Some individuals don't act in the "typical" way. Much of what you described about the A in regards to exercise/pushing oneself are things I can relate to, as an O with a chronic condition.

But that's just the personality stuff; food wise, I'm all O!

Reply to Ruth: Of course. These generalizations, however, have -in my experience- spoken to scores of people who otherwise couldn't quite grasp the Eat Right Individuality concept. This sort of explanation opened their minds to the necessity of gearing food choices as well as fitness/recreation programs, to individual differences within their O/A relationships and families. -Sante
