Flaky AB
I am giving up on writing a tempeh blog for a little while since the entire one I wrote last time was reduced to 55 words leaving off with hubby being a carnivore (for the record, he also really enjoys his veggies!!!). Now that the baby is 6 months old, I'm finding that we are in a bit more of a routine within the household. This is a good thing, as I am able to get more done around here!! The other exciting thing about hitting this milestone is that our little man gets to start trying out solid (very mushy solid!!) food. I'm not sure of his blood type, but plan on introducing all foods anyhow. As he gets older, I can look at having him eat right for his type. It will be neat to see if the foods that make him gassy, fussy, etc. end up being avoids for his type. I do plan on buying only organic for him (we haven't made the leap for ourselves yet...though we are growing food this year out in the garden) and making as much of his baby food as I can. It will be fun to see him trying out different items; he's already makes funny faces at different textures in his mouth (fabric, papers, plastics, etc.).
On other notes, I am feeling frustrated with myself and my eating habits. I've gotten way back into the sugar and find myself eating volumes of food. It seems like I make up for the times that I can't eat because of the baby. I'm not nearly as active as I was before he was born, so my body isn't burning the extra calories. I've only lost about 15 pounds since having him. Hubby is in a similar situation so we are both hanging by our fingernails trying to claw our way back onto the proverbial wagon. We just got home from a week's trek to see family and friends, so I was able to restock the 'fridge with bennies. I've done an inches measurement on myself and am considering posting it here. I will probably simply report on the amount lost in the blogs. I feel like I need some accountability to prime the pump for this process. I'd really like to have the "baby weight" off before getting preggers again. I must say that it's humbling to realize that the flab doesn't just melt away like it did ten years ago!
That's all I've got for today. Take care, be well and stay compliant!!
