Although the thermometer stated that it was 19 degrees, it sure had a bite to it.. Must be a high humidity day or something. We got another inch or so of snow today. The streets are exceptionally icy today. The snow was kind of a misty snow. The nighttime temperatures have been below zero this week and then warm up to about 20 degrees or so during the day. I don’t have the paper handy, but I believe we hit the 10 hours of daylight today!
I’ve been studying about EFT (Emotional Freedom Therapy or Techniques) recently and also learning more about some other related energy therapy issues. It’s been quite interesting and fascinating to witness first-hand some powerful insights and changes. My daughter’s head ache left and my sister-in-law’s sciatic nerve pain reduced drastically while I was on the phone with them. Fascinating!
Tonight’s dinner was really good and everybody enjoyed it. We had roasted turkey breast, sautéed spinach, rice, carrot-raisin salad, and a raspberry gelatin with lots of strawberries, banana, and 3 kinds of grapes.
The Olympics have been quite interesting to watch. I believe that we have two Alaskan medal holders this year so far. We had a total of 11 Alaskans participating. It’s fun to see someone we know (more from local tv than personally) doing their things in the Olympics. One guy’s father is my husband’s good friend. Another of the participants has a summer home on the Kenai River, too. It makes it more fun to watch when it is closer to home.
Take care. Till next time…
