I personally cannot stand coffee, the smell, the taste, nada. I can’t even tolerate the caffeine in chocolate, so my only caffeine comes from my daily green tea. However………..I know there are many well intentioned BTDers out there who are Coffee-Aholics.
Here is a story for you all that should make your re-evaluate that habit.
My parents had a good friend who was a coffee-aholic. He drank coffee all day long. One day he called his secretary into his office and asked her to bring him another cup of coffee.
She said, ‘sir, you know this will be your 35 cup today”
It was 10am.
So he decided to quit, cold turkey. He got massive debilitating headaches, had terrible withdraw reactions, so much so he spend days in bed. Finally after about 3 months of massive headaches, declining brain function, ect. He went to a Dr. to see if there was something else wrong.
He had a malignant brain tumor. Coincidence? I think not.
So, the moral of this story is, coffee drinkers, be careful. If you do decide to quit do it gradually..
